Jeg er vokset op i Argentinas hovedstad Buenos Aires og er derfra vant til vin og verdensmusik.
Tilfældet ville, at jeg endte i Danmark, og længe har jeg drømt om et sted i København, hvor jeg kan præsentere kvalitetsvin fra mit hjemland – et sted der endvidere i udsmykning og musik afspejler den tangokultur, jeg kender så godt fra min barndomsby.
Tango y Vinos er virkeliggørelsen af denne gamle drøm – og jeg glæder mig til at byde dig velkommen.

Hope you like the boring corporate statement. Let me please turn a bit the history. I come to Denmark as a ‘sexual refugee’ I didnt come here for the kartofler, the endless windy bloody winter or the pølser on the streets. I come here because i was deeply in Love with Stine, and i needed to start over my life. Now, went to the sprog skole some weeks, and really fast find out that the social democracy in this country makes people strive not to do anything, after all the sweet state of Denmark will cover your bills.GET the MESSAGE: Far better stay at home, watch TV and get the check.Not thank you. Im Argentinean, we had 5 presidents in 2 weeks! and around 7 hyperinflation in one year! If that did not kill me, Im a survivor!
The only thing that can kill people in Denmark is the bloody bureaucracy! .I had a severe DANSK crisis, that is, you wonder about your self more that you wonder how to make your life better. I realize i was in deep trouble. I needed a change, radical one.
I decided to do what it turn me on: Drink wines, talk about it, serve them and being social.
Since the opening at the end of May 2007, we had infinite problems. From almost bankruptcy, going trough my divorce, and ending unfortunately many friendship relations, i look behind today and get again the same conclusion: What did not kill me, make me stronger.
Today our wine bar has a great tasty kitchen, we keep on drinking nasty Argentine Malbecks, organize wine tastings for human beings (i personally hate the tastings which are lectures, bored to death, and where its more important to put the nose in a cool position than to explore above the stupidity written by wine makers in the etiquette, very sad!) , Tango lessons to make your date being Argentinean-ly horny, and corporate events that brings the human beings on top of everything
And im proud of that. We are a LOW KEY wine bar- vinbar- and tapas bar. Great tastes are combined with YOUR PERSONALITY. So if you want to look cool, wrong spot. Leave your Scandinavian soul on the door step of the bar, and strive to be a and experience to be a ‘civilized brutal’ person. Trust me, you will enjoy it. Add to all this Live events-lots of music baby- and you will be out of Denmark in no time, just around the Royal theater!
Finally, i can happily say i had become my dream. Come along, and experience the Argentinean way. After all, we cant run a country, but we are in touch with our feelings. We are still a ‘primitive’ society, but very warm. We say what we mean, and we mean what we say. Not always is good, but it is certainly healthy!
And a last word : My danish SUCKS in a huge way. As one friend from Information paper says ‘..Daniel, you are very well integrated into the danish society, you are just not asimilated to it!!
